Centre for Analyses of Social Exclusion (CASE) was established
in October 1997 with funding from the Economic and Social Research Council
(ESRC). It is located within the Suntory and Toyota International Centres
for Economic and Related Disciplines (STICERD) at the London School
of Economics and Political Science.
Centre for Research in Social Policy (CRSP) established in
1983, is based within the Department of Social Sciences, Loughborough
University, UK. CRSP conduct research in the field of social policy;
improve the quality and flow of information on which policy decisions
are made and promote contacts between policy makers, practitioners and
the research community.
Cerc has open an online information service related to its
fields of expertise (employment, income, social cohesion). Five themes
are already available : poverty, social minima, in-work benefits, minimum
wage and return-to-work programmes. Other themes will be soon on line.

EDACwowe (the European Data Center for Work and Welfare) is a META-DATA-SHELL for European research and policy making in the areas of work and welfare. EDACwowe gives information on and direct links to comparative and national, quantitative and qualitative data on work and welfare and closely related fields. The data include public opinions, indicators and statistics, and policies and institutions.
ESPAnet (the Network for European Social Policy Analysis) is an association of academics involved or interested in the analysis of social policy in Europe.
The Network encourages and fosters a multi-disciplinary approach to the analysis of European social policy. It is therefore open to people from a range of disciplines, including social policy, sociology, political science, international relations, history, law and economics.
European Low-Wage Employment Research Network (LoWER) is an
international network for research on the workings of the low-wage labour
market as a potential mechanism contributing to social exclusion.
