National Center for Children in Poverty (NCCP) Founded in 1989 as a division of the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, NCCP is a nonpartisan, public interest research organization. NCCP is the nation’s leading public policy center dedicated to promoting the economic security, health, and well-being of America’s low-income families and children.

National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty, (NLCHP)
Washington, D.C. NLCHP was established in June 1989 two years after Congress passed the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. The mission of the Law Center is to prevent and end homelessness by serving as the legal arm of the nationwide movement to end homelessness. The Law Center strives to place homelessness in the larger context of poverty.

America's Second Harvest—The Nation's Food Bank Network is the largest charitable hunger-relief organization in the USA. It is a network of more than 200 Member food banks and food-rescue organizations, serving all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
